Social inequalities in child health are widely observed and contribute to health and socioeconomic disparities throughout the life course. Nonetheless, the social determinants of child health remain an understudied topic of research. The objective of this symposium is to provide an opportunity for academics (psychologists, sociologists, pediatricians, social scientists and educators) from a wide range of disciplines to present their research on this critical and understudied topic.
