SPENCER EVANS

Spencer C. Evans is an assistant professor at the University of Miami and an expert in clinical child psychology. He specializes in the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of emotional and behavioral problems in youth, with a focus on irritability and aggression. He holds a Ph.D. in Clinical Child Psychology from the University of Kansas and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Harvard.

He is the recipient of multiple awards, including the APS Rising Star Award and the L. Rowell Huesmann Early Career Award.

He has led and participated in numerous research projects funded by the NIH and other entities, and has published more than 70 articles in scientific journals.
